Update: Deadline to volunteer for the election committee in Wednesday, October 18. Our election for national officers is approaching. To conduct this election, the Executive Committee of NAAE is seeking volunteers to serve as the Election Committee. We need a minimum of 3 people, all NAAE members in good standing, and all in one location.
The Election Committee will elect a Chairperson. The Chairperson will receive an all-expenses paid trip to the convention. If you are interested in serving in the Election Committee, please notify the NAAE Executive Committee (cc Julie Orr & Esther Serrano) as soon as possible. The Executive Committee will soon be selecting the Election Committee. The NAAE National Convention will be held in El Segundo, California from May 4-9, 2024. Convention attendance is extremely useful to our constituents. In addition to the Election Committee chairperson, the constitution of NAAE authorizes the Union to cover travel expenses for one delegate from each Branch, and for four delegates from the members-at-large not affiliated with a Branch. Any member in good standing may also attend at their own expense.
We urge ALL MEMBERS to utilize this opportunity, not only to attend the Convention, but also to serve on the Election Committee.
