January 23, 2025 A letter to our members

Dear NAAE colleagues,

The NAAE understands that this time of major change and uncertainty and that you may have a lot of
questions. We want you to know that the NAAE is working continuously on your behalf. The executive
committee is meeting weekly and more often as needed to discuss new developments as well as
member concerns and issues. We are having continuous discussions with our general counsel,
management liaisons, and federal worker groups.

Our mission of safeguarding U.S. agriculture and promoting safe trade remains unchanged. We are
approaching the new administration with the goal of building a collaborative working relationship and
finding agreement whenever possible. At the same time, we are prepared to take the necessary steps to
ensure that our hard fought collective bargaining agreement is honored by all parties.

The union needs you support now more than ever. Your dues contributions make our work possible. Our
ability to effectively bargain on your behalf for fair working conditions and just labor practices is
contingent on our available resources, including financial resources. If you have not joined the NAAE as a
dues paying member, please consider doing so now. For more information on joining, please visit our
website or contact us.

In Solidarity,
NAAE Executive Committee
